Description

2026 Seawind 1160XL Partnership

Performance Cruising. Shared Intelligently. Based in Pensacola.

Imagine owning a brand-new Seawind 1160XL — without carrying the full weight of sole ownership.

Windcraft Multihulls is offering a rare opportunity to acquire a 30% ownership share (or multiple shares) in a 2026 Seawind 1160XL performance cruising catamaran, professionally managed and based in Pensacola, Florida.

This structure makes exceptional sense for experienced sailors who want access to a brand-new performance cruising yacht, yet maintain full and dynamic lives — careers, businesses, homes, and families that rightly demand time and financial focus. Owning a yacht of this caliber at 100% ownership requires significant capital commitment, ongoing maintenance oversight, and consistent time devotion. For many accomplished individuals, the desire to sail remains strong — but the practicality of full ownership does not always align. This partnership bridges that gap intelligently.

Each 30% ownership share is estimated at $210,000 – $225,000 USD, inclusive of shipping, import duty, and commissioning. The structure reflects over $40,000 in built-in savings, with Windcraft Multihulls handling commission at cost. This is a deliberate opportunity designed to move decisively and ensure the yacht’s primary home remains Pensacola.

Pensacola is no longer just a beautiful city on the Panhandle — it is an energized sailing epicenter. With American Magic headquartered locally, SailGP training activity, and major events such as the Swan 28 Worlds, the environment is active and inspiring. The Gulf of Mexico lies immediately offshore. The Emerald Coast stretches in both directions. In just two to three days, you can reach St. Petersburg — or turn south toward the Bahamas and the Florida Keys.

The ownership structure is curated and aligned. Each partner holds 30%, while Windcraft retains 10% during the first year to ensure seamless commissioning and shared accountability. After year one, that 10% share is either sold or absorbed by the ownership group.

Usage is governed by a structured calendar designed to eliminate conflict while preserving flexibility. Creative cruising logistics allow for real adventure — one partner sailing to the Bahamas, another joining there, another returning her home — maximizing use while sharing responsibility.

Windcraft Multihulls oversees maintenance, warranty coordination, operational logistics, and scheduling. Optional catamaran training with Windcraft Multihull's own licensed captains is available. Owners enjoy the performance, capability, and freedom of a modern cruising catamaran — without the full-time operational burden of going it alone.

The yacht is pushing for a US arrival date of summer 2026.

Two partners are already in active discussion. Remaining shares will be offered selectively to qualified owners seeking intelligent access, professional stewardship, and genuine sailing opportunity. Please reach out to us for more information. Other partnership percentages are possible and negotiable.

Manufacturer Description: The 1160XL is the latest version of the famed Seawind 1160 of which over 200 have been built and sailing all over the world. The SW1160 has hundreds of ocean crossings and a number of world circumnavigations to its credit. The new model SW1160XL retains all the sailing features and offshore capabilities of the 1160 but has been redesigned with a modern exterior, more internal volume and greater cruising comfort.

The new XL version will retain the simplicity and low maintenance features of the SW1160 and offer a true blue-water, ocean capable catamaran at an exceptional entry level price. Perfect for weekend cruising and perfect to meet your serious offshore cruising dream!

The overall finish of the Seawind 1160 XL will be consistent with a luxury world- standard yacht of this size and type. Only very high quality equipment is used throughout.

The overall aim is for a level of construction, workmanship, equipment, fit-out and style that surpasses any other comparable catamaran available in the market at this price range.
