Description

SEAWIND 1270 - EXPANDED COMFORT & SPEED

The new Seawind 1270 is 400mm longer and 120mm wider offering greater interior comfort, stability and performance. Like all Seawinds, the new 1270 is designed and built to Category A, unlimited offshore certification. Each hull is widened 60mm with a new underwater hull shape that retains the gentle windward experience but is optimized for increased performance and speed both on & off the wind. The extra width combined with more vertical topsides provide significantly more interior space.

The foredeck and front beam have been raised to create flat decks from stern to stem. This has improved open ocean capability but also massively increased interior volume, especially in the forward queen bed cabins.

Optimized underwater hull shapes and a raised Carbon Composite Fore-beam deliver superior wave clearance and enhanced off-the-wind performance.

The signature Seawind Trifold Door system merges the saloon and cockpit into one expansive, open living area.  Twin protected helm stations offer 360-degree visibility from behind a major bulkhead, ensuring safety and protection from the elements.  Taller 810 stanchions with four lifelines, and wider transoms with aft boarding step turn safety into assurance, allowing the safe on-off boarding and inspiring confidence with every horizon.

The headroom of the saloon and the bedrooms is raised to 1.98m, creates the utmost comfort for the living space aboard.  The 1270 is available in either the three cabin, galley down version which has been a hallmark of Seawind’s success over many years or the beautifully designed three cabin, galley up version. Within the galley up version, a forward-facing navigation station has been added.
